TRL believes in respecting people and working in partnership to achieve the exceptional


Over the past thirty years the company has grown from a small research and development business to a business that employees over 300 people all of whom are working to ensure we create marketing leading products. Even though we have grown we have managed to keep the culture of a small business with many colleagues enjoying our family feel. 

Innovation is something that happens across TRL, irrespective of departments. We live and breathe innovation as it is the key to maintain our best of breed technology. It is important for us to have an innovative culture that promotes everyone’s ideas to ensure that we remain competitive and celebrate everyone’s successes. With several programmes in place to sponsor these activities innovation is part of everyday life at TRL.



Remaining the market lead can be hard work sometimes but it is important to have a bit of fun at the same time. We regularly run events across the company to raise funds for our annual charity of choice, indulging in a little cake or fancy dress, all for a good cause. Our recently renovated café is regularly full with people popping in to grab a bite to eat, Starbucks Coffee or have a go on our pool and foosball tables. 


People at TRL also meet up outside of the office, often playing in football and rugby teams together. For those that aren’t sporty, departments often organise a range of other activities from pub quizzes to meals and the odd night out. We also host a funded Christmas party which is always the highlight of the calendar with partners joining in on the fun.


We promote a healthy life-work balance through our condensed working weeks, flexible working and family friendly policies. You work hard during the day and deserve to enjoy your life in your time. We encourage our people to look after their physical and mental health with discounted local gym memberships, discounts and offers with national retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues, an online employee assistance scheme and access to an occupational health nurse.
